Favorite Verse This Month

john 141.jpg

This verse sums up everything I feel like God has been teaching me this month and as I’ve entered into my last trimester of pregnancy!  There are just so many “what ifs” and “how will this work” with all that, and there have been several other things to happen this month that I have really struggled with worrying about.  God has reminded me time and time again that there isn’t a reason to fear and to find my peace in Him!

I have recently discovered this Kopari Coconut Body Glow and am OBSESSED!!! I know it looks super glittery in the bottle, but trust me, it’s not when you apply it!

I have been squeezing into my lotion/self-tanner mixture whenever I do that for a natural glow and have also been using a drop or two in either my moisturizer or foundation every day!  It just gives you a pretty, bronzed glow! You don’t look like a sparkle queen or anything!  I bought it in a little set, so this is the smaller bottle, but I will be purchasing a larger bottle of it on it’s own to have on hand when I run out of this for sure!

Here’s a drop squeezed out so you can see what it looks like before you mix it into anything…it mixes really well with any of the products I have dropped it into!

This has been a life-changing purchase for this pregnant lady.  haha.  But I already love it so much that I am sure I will use it after pregnancy too!

I bought this exercise ball because my lower back was starting to hurt and lots of my friends said their exercise balls helped with this!  So I bought it for that reason, but I have also been using it to work out alot! I use it the same way that I would a bench at the gym.  Also, I sit myself up on it to do exercises that would normally be done laying flat on your back.  It really helps you to use the same muscles, but is safe for pregnancy! Win!

Most days, I just use it as a chair though. haha.  I got the 65cm, and I feel like it is the right size for me.  I’m 5’8″ for your reference!

I recently found Shane & Shane’s The Worship Initiative, and that is basically all I have been listening to this month!  There like 15 different albums, so I just added them all into my music library and have been rotating through.  There’s a great mix of new and old worship songs, so I have LOVED having it on in the background of my days and in my car!

I start leaning towards orangey and purple tones for my lips during August I feel like.  I feel like they are both still bright, so they still go with the warmer weather, but they’re not like hot pinks or complete brights that scream SUMMER!  These are just a few of the colors I have had in rotation that I have been layering with each other or other lighter tones to keep some of them not quite as pigmented.

With Buttercup almost here, I have been LOVING this oil!  It smells so sweet and soft, so I love diffusing it either alone or mixed with other oils.  I also read that it is great for pregnant bellies, so I have been rubbing it on mine and also added a few drops of both it and Lavender to my dryer balls when I have been washing her clothes and blankets.  It just smells so precious and makes me so happy!  Here are a few of the oils I have been using in the diffuser with Gentle Baby.  A favorite combo is Gentle Baby, Lavender, and Geranium! I also like it by itself with either Lavender or Joy!

Reads This Month

I read a book by Francine Rivers this month who is also the author of my FAVORITE book ever, Reedeming Love.  This month I read The Scarlet Thread.  It tells two stories in the same book, so it was intriguing because you wanted to find out what was happening to both people!  Ultimately, it’s the story of God’s love, so I really enjoyed it!

I am still in the middle of Let’s All Be Brave by Annie F. Downs and just loving it so far! It’s really conversational so it makes for a quick, easy read!  However, I have just been reading a chapter here, a chapter there, so it is taking me a minute to get through.

She has a devotional that is similarly themed from what I can tell, so I may be needing that soon! lol.
